The Voice House was one of the first community choirs in Edinburgh, founded in 1992, so in 2022 we celebrated 30 years of singing together in harmony.
Our Musical Director is Yvonne Burgess, musician, choir director, composer and writer.
We meet on Wednesday evenings between 7.00pm – 8.45pm, at Christ Church Hall, 6a Morningside Road, EH10 4DD. We have about 40 singers and are now recruiting new members.
We sing mainly for fun and relaxation, learning folk, spiritual, gospel and popular songs from around the world. We are open to all and require no audition, no previous experience or ability to read music and we learn by ear and sing everything 'a capella' (unaccompanied).
