Scotland's Got Talent
Rehearsal

This will be a rehearsal of the songs but there will also be a chance for some 'fun' singing as well and there will, of course, be no cost implication.

We would like as full a turn-out as we can muster.  It will be quite a high profile event and we want to make a good show of it.

LAKELAND VOICE - harmony singing 2010

Tuesdays 7.30-9.30pm Lakeland Voices community choir open to all. Songs learnt by ear from Britain and around the world with summer singing walks, outings to sing in beautiful local places, visiting choirs and choir meets, lerarning CDs etc. Term-time - starts again next Tuesday (January 12) at the Castle Street Community Centre, Kendal.

July 23-25 Hardraw Harmony - singing weekend at the Hardraw folk festival near Hawes (Hardraw Gathering at the Green Dragon.) Hostel accommodation (or camping), workshops, concerts, walks, pub singing sessions etc..

September 20-27 Jura island harmony singing week and Folk Festival . Learn songs from Scotland and around the world, and sing them at this wonderful island festival. Single, double & twin rooms at Jura House with sea views and walks through the walled garden and woods to a private beach. Optional outings include otter and seal watching, trip to the island of Colonsay, and an expedition to the Paps of Jura.

November 12-14 Singing Settle Carlisle : Learn songs about the building of this magnificent mountain railway & sing them on the train, in the stations, on walks through these wild hills ....and round the fires of country pubs. Accommodation, workshops, concert, train, walks etc £95

December 3-5 Dent Folk Carols Festival - Folk carols, pub carols, mediaeval carols, west gallery carols, Slovenian carols... and many more. Workshops, concerts, pub singing, ceilidh dance, singing walk, festive meals etc.. Single, twin or double rooms in romantic Dentdale cottages with open fires. £95
